Mechanical properties
a) Yield strength (YS): Minimum 360 N/MM2
b) Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) : Minimum 510 N/mm2
c) Elongation: Minimum 22% (50 gage length)
d) Bend Test: 180 degree bend test shall qualify without cracking from edge
C) Sizes
a) Thickness: 1.5 mm , 1.6 mm, and 1.8 mm
b) Width of the coils : 236 mm to 446 mm.
D) Annual Volume: 10,000 metric tons in above product mix
E) Chemical properties: Carbon (C): 0.056 % , Manganese (Mn)- 0.2 % , Sulfur (S)- 0.012% , Silicone (Si)- 0.014% , Aluminium (Al) - 0.031 %
F) Dimensional Accuracy
a) Thickness tolerance: +/- 0.1 mm
b) Width of the coil tolerance : +/- 0.5 mm
c) Camber: Maximum 1 mm in 1 meter length
d) Slitted coils shall be flat and free from BOW
G) Packing instructions
a) Min. and Max. weight of the coils shall be between 2 metric tons to 4 metric
b) Minimum outside diameter (OD) of the coil will be 1000 mm, and maximum outside diameter 1650 mm
c) Inside diameter (ID) of the coils shall be 500 mm +/- 10 mm
d) Packing of the coils shall be with metal covering as per enclosed photographs and coils shall be kept in EYE TO SKY position in the container. Coils shall be packed with 32 mm wide high tensile metal strips, and 4 nos of wooden logs in 3" x 3" sizes shall be kept below every coil.
