1-Scope of Request.
The required material is steel sheets in cut lengths, packed in bundles for making drums for lube oils in accordance with specifications and requirements mentioned below.
2-Specifications and Requirements.
A) For both body and ends to be according to the (DIN 1623 - st 1203) or equivalent, cold rolled, pickled.
B) Bill of Quantity:

1- (1800x910x1) mm 1000 ton oiled sheets
2- (1800x910x1.2) mm 1000 ton oiled sheets
3- (1310x655x1.2) mm 1000 ton oiled sheets
Note:
Very thin oil film must be coated surface of sheets for item 1- to protect it from rust, so that this film mustn t affect to wilding of drums.
C) Tolerance for both items should be according to (DIN 1541) or equivalent.
3- Packing:
Package for all bundles weighting 4.5 ton net for one item and 3 ton net for two item
a) The first item: shall be strapped with 4 straps on the shorter side of the package and 3 straps on the longer side, the straps must be of (0.9 - 1) mm thick and the width of straps must be (30 - 40) mm.
b) The second item : must be strapped with 3 straps on the shorter side of the package and 2 straps on the longer side. These straps must be the same as on item 3 - a).
c) The thickness of the wooden skids as below:
- For first item: 3 pieces on the longer side (140 x 40) mm.
4 pieces on the shorter side (100 x 70) mm.
- For second item: 2 pieces on the longer side (140 x 40) mm.
3 pieces on the shorter side (100 x 70) mm.
d) In proper package covered with strong double wax impregnated paper with steel corner clips they covered also with the metal protection from all sides.
I.F. to avoid rusting. The package covered sheet metal envelope of (1.2 - 1.25) mm to cover the bundle from all sides.
4- General Requirements:
- Bidders have to mention the number of sheets packed per each bundle in the technical part of their offer.
Each bundle to be labeled clearly , mentioning (factory name, lot number, weight, number of sheets contained in the bundle).
- Manufacturers or bidders must be approved by an internationally recognized quality assurance or standardization organization to the quality management system standard (ISO 9001 ) series. This certificate must be valid and applicable to the offered materials. A copy of this certificate should be submitted in his technical offer.
- The bidder or manufacturer must be submitted a test certificate for materials during supplying.
5- Inspection:
The inspection should be carried out mainly by nutral recognized company at the manufacture place and part of dispatch. This company will be nominated purchaser in due time. |
